China set the target for CBM output

China plans to produce 21.5 – 23.5 bcm of coal bed methane (CBM) for 12th Five Year Plan (2011-2015), more than twice of 10bcm during the period of 11th Five Year Plan, said an official with China United Coad Bed Methane Co. Ltd  The 12th Five Year Plan of CBM, which will be likely to be disclosed to public soon, suggested that the new reserve of CBM will reach 850bcm and power generation capacity fired by CBM will increase to more than 3GW by 2015.
